Wawa is helping teachers get ready to go back to school with free coffee.

The chain’s Mid-Atlantic locations are giving out free hot coffee all of September for teachers and school administrators through their “Cheers to Classrooms” promotion.

Faculty need to share with a cashier that they work at a school to receive this offer.

Wawa is also partnering with Donor’s Choose to help teachers in need of additional funding. Teachers can submit a project at www.donorschoose.org and those schools that meet Wawa’s funding criteria could receive matching funds.

I forgot it was September 1 when I took my coffee to the counter.
